Dietz & Watson Uncured Beef Franks

Switched to these because I wanted a hot dog without added nitrates, and the beef flavor actually comes through instead of tasting salty. They plump up nicely on the grill and the casings snap when you bite in.

I've been grilling these every weekend and the casing actually snaps when you bite into it, which I didn't expect from a nitrate-free frank. The beef flavor is rich enough that I've stopped bothering with toppings besides a little mustard.

No nitrates or nitrites is the main reason I grabbed these, and they actually taste like real beef instead of salt. Grilled them for a cookout and nobody could tell they weren't the usual ones.
